Directions to Centennial Auditorium at Sterling High School: 1. In Sterling, turn right at Kohl’s (East Lynn Blvd) 2. At 3rd stop sign, turn left (6th Ave) 3. Take right on Miller St. Travel 2 blocks, theater sits on left side 4. Dancer and person with Guardian Pass will enter
Pick up Parent Pass with Violet. ONLY 1 adult allowed in auditorium during rehearsals. Adult MUST have Parent pass (No Siblings Allowed)
BEFORE Rehearsals: 1. Check your date and time of rehearsal. Know your dancer’s songs! 2. Check costume pieces, hang in a safe place. You may have to steam, press or fluff. 3. Practice doing make-up and your dancer’s hair. 4. Pack “Dancer’s Survival Kit” – hairspray, bobby pins, extra tights, scissors, tweezers, tape, safety pins, etc. 5. Please inform CS of any student special needs (asthma, inhalers, diabetes, etc). We want to be prepared for all situations.
DURING Rehearsals 1. Be ready at least 30 minutes before your scheduled rehearsal time! - we do not wait & are known to run ahead of schedule! (You must be at rehearsal to be in recital) 2. Come dressed in 1st costume with hair and make-up done. (This is a FULL dress rehearsal – shoes, costumes, make-up, hair) 3. Wear cover-up while traveling. Carry dance shoes. Student sits with their class in auditorium. 4. You may videotape and take photos at Dress Rehearsal only! Performance videos may be ordered. 5. Please remind us of quick recital changes (2 songs or less)
